"Spent a great Memorial Day weekend here. Very peaceful place with lots of friendly staff. The sites are very large and spaced out, and the views and nature are spectacular. The hike up to the abandoned mine was a fun activity to do with the kids our oldest navigated while the youngest being only five was able to explore. Just make sure you pay close attention to children once you get there the mine goes straight down into the ground and there's no telling how far a fall it is. Get groceries before you get to Las Vegas the prices are inflated."

"I love this park. They have several spots for large 50 amp RV's and some really nice spots with covered tables. The roads inside are nice, and the staff there is great. This site is only open in the summer from about mid May to mid October, with a very popular 'Christmas in July' timeframe in late July. Reserve early to get what you want.__This park has permanent to semi-permanent residents living in the hills behind/above it - so there is full water, sewer, wi-fi already in place with very good reception in just about every spot of the park. The entrance requires a gate code, so only those who live there, or are renting there can come and go.__The residents are very nice, park amenities are clean and well maintained. The little shop has basic supplies (like milk and orange juice) but there is nothing else nearby, you'd have to drive into town to get more than just the basics. Its very quiet, but easy to access from the road.__It truly feels like going to the woods to boondock, but better..."
